We stayed at Woodacre during our mother-daughter trip across England, and it was truly a wonderful stop. Sue welcomed us warmly, showed us around, and invited us for tea in the garden, which instantly made us feel at home.We had the double room with an ensuite. It was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed, including a small seating area and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was also very nice.Breakfast was served in the dining area with a view of the garden, and there were plenty of great choices. We had avocado toast with salmon, fresh fruit, yogurt, tea, and toast with marmalade (they even have their own homemade honey!).We also enjoyed chatting with our hosts and the other guests. On top of that wonderful hospitality, when my daughter accidentally left something behind in the bathroom, Sue notified us straight away and kindly mailed it back to our home in Amsterdam.Highly recommended! - Lien G
Couldn’t fault the welcome, the room, the breakfast. Really well equipped and comfortable room. Despite being near a busy main road there was little traffic noise - Doreen W
